in her tireless opening
choose to be kind,
no matter what
the trend of hairstyles
the height of ocean waves
bringing you in, water's
curve making caves
choose to be kind, whether
the sky predicts more rain
or a succession of dry days
what you at one time
thought was weakness
waxes, wanes, becomes
the strength of crazy glue
keeping mind and soul sealed
together, throughout
all kinds of weather
