breaths and rests complete
the cycle of life and death
throughout the turning
within the center
of our beings
rising, falling
forever

changing
life rearranges
sometimes estranges
ultimately brings us
back on course
rejoicing in
the circle

completed-
yet infinitely spinning,
leaves stirred, grinning-
after freely falling
upon the warm
september earth
calling us in mirth
