the same tissue paper that gets sheared
gets restored, through a time warp
no, don't try to go back to understand why-
you got yourself all involved with what's his name;
love yourself, whatever state of the union
you are in, and get to work--
at just a little loving you,
and soon enough you'll be
back in the soft stream of loving
another-- for who he or she is:
faith wears wings of non-expectancy
