To Own Oneself

"To be willing to walk into hell for a heavenly cause" Don Quixote'

To own oneself is to not be led by any one's opinions, nor to be ashamed of one's own thoughts or feelings.
To really stand for one's self, is the penultimate expression of going into the lion's den, with just a prayer.

Ones' blood may be running dry, one's home flying into space, one's family fleeing by what they call your actions a disgrace. Still you hold on to the last standing tree, holding the last apple, wearing your beloved soul, thread bare and honest. Your integrity covering your entire aura.

Self love has the power to open doors of immense mahogany, leading you a  splendid life. A life you never could have imagined.   Stepping into the portal of effulgent light, you hear angels applauding your integrity. Tasting the vanilla in the moon light, your hungry soul is nourished.

You soul becomes satisfied, perhaps for the first time in your life. With the simple act of listening to what your heart has always nudged you towards. A soft whisper saying, "it is safe", "go ahead". "those who don't understand you now, may later." The point is...to understand yourself, and the reasons you have come to the earth at this time".

Your brilliance will pave the path for further self-awareness.   You won't have to convince anyone of anything. You will be so free of needing any assurance outside your own metered heart beat. Life becomes the vibrancy we felt as children. You are able to become this now, and your smile radiates pure joy.

You have harnessed your true self, owning it to the deepest core of your soul.
