TIME TO

Time to meditate
Reflect,
Give thanks.
Another day of loving,
Supported by mother nature
Father sky
Earth which beams
In hymns
Of growing wonder.
Fire, to warm,
Sustain.
Water to cool,
And move.

Sun just went behind
Cumulus cloud.
Bumble bees left
The milkweed
Swirls of green,
As topaz stained-glass
Drift atop
The slow moving
Nissequogue.

The first quarter moon:
Time for water
To be rising
And moon
To be brightening.
Yelp of geese
Era era
Aga aga wa:
A giggle of a call;
They have learned
Not to take themselves
So seriously!
